Two years ago, Emraan Hashmi while talking about Bollywood movie franchises had categorically stated that no matter how success ful it was, it should not be stretched beyond a triology. And that was his rationale for not doing another Murder. Clearly, the actor has had a change of heart now, He has agreed to topline the cast of Raaz 4, which rolls in March-April 2015.

“We are yet to finalise the heroine but Emraan is definitely on board," informed director Vikram Bhatt, adding, “We will roll in the first quarter of the next year."

The film will be shot across Mumbai. And the film's producers, Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt, are also considering filming it in some foreign locales which might be in the UK and the US. Vikram and Emraan are currently working together in the fantasy adventure, Mr X.

Vikram triggered off the Raaz franchise in 2002 and returned to it a decade later with Raaz 3 starring Emraan and Bipasha Basu. In between, Mohit Suri helmed Raaz 2.
