Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, helmed by first-time director Shashank Khaitan, has caught the attention of the audience with its entertaining promos and melodious songs. But at the heart of the forthcoming Karan Johar production's growing popularity is the crackling chemistry between the lead pair, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.

These two young actors have been friends since their debut two years ago in Student Of The Year.
And their camaraderie was more than visible during the film's promotional activities.

Describing their equation, Alia says, “Varun and I share a love-hate relationship. We fight almost all the time.
People around us are always telling us to stop. It's a lot like our film characters, Humpty and Kavya. We fight so much because we actually love each other."

With such palpable chemistry between the lead pair, the makers promise a memorable love story.
