Kabir Khan is yet to film the last leg of his Saif Ali Khan Katrina Kaif starrer, Phantom, in Vancouver, but he has already announced his next film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which will be an Eid release next year. Featuring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, it flags off in November.

Meanwhile, the prolific writer-director has already locked the script for a third film. It is a passionate love story set against a historical and political backdrop and Mirror has learnt that Hrithik Roshan has consented, in prin ciple, to topline the project. The film is scheduled to go on floors in July 2015. It will be his second film to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

A source revealed that Hrithik met Kabir a few weeks ago. “He loved the script and has given the nod to the film since he hasn't done a love story in a while. Kabir finalised Bajrangi Bhaijaan while he was shooting Phantom and now he's finalised Hrithik for this as-yet-untitled film. He wants to direct one film a year, and is working on the logistics of two films simultaneously.

Hrithik's leading lady is yet to be finalised but it will definitely be a glamorous A-lister. According to our source, it is a toss-up between Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Both Kabir Khan and Hrithik Roshan were out of the country and did not respond to our texts.
