We were the first to tell you that Ramesh Sippy had signed his favourite actress Hema Malini in his quirky love story Shimla Mirchi that already stars Rajkummar Rao. We have now learnt that Miss India 2011 finalist Rakul Preet Singh, who was seen in Yaariyan earlier this year, has been cast in the lead opposite Raj and that she will play the daughter of the beautiful Hema Malini. Rakul, all we can say is enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
