The trailer launch of Salman Khan's upcoming Eid release Kick at a Mumbai multiplex amidst horde of screaming fans was well received. His dark and edgy character is called Devil. In keeping with the tradition of at least one famous dialogue in each of his films, the Salmanism this time is -“Main dil mein aata hoon, samajh mein nahin."
Roughly translated, it means -`People love me but can't comprehend me'. True, we may add! Admitting that his leading man is truly devilish, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala, who is leaving no stone unturned to make his directorial debut a slick, classy, action entertainer, admits, “Rajat Aroraa (dialogue writer) and I had long creative sessions. We needed to define our hero and this line emerged from our various discussions.“ And he has already got the megastar's approval on this dialogue as Salman thinks “it encapsulates his personality completely."
Kick is one of the most awaited films of the year and the trailer lives upto the promise. From Wanted in 2009, Salman has made Ramzan Eid his bastion, except last year, when he missed his date with this festival. But, this time around, he's back where he belongs.
