Sajid Khan is on a high
these days. Ever since the theatrical trailer of Humshakals was
launched, the director has been flooded with requests from laughter
clubs and stand-up comedy gigs for a screening of the movie.
Says he, “This reinforces my belief that the film's comedy has been well appreciated. I'd love to hold screenings for all the clubs that have approached me, but the final copy will be out only on June 16." Apart from two of its soundtracks - Caller Tune and Piya Ka Bazaar - rocking popularity charts, the triple roles of Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor have also generated a lot of curiosity.
One of the highlights of the family entertainer is Saif and Riteish mimicking Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Pran and Rajendra Nath. One sequence even has the Nawab of Pataudi imitating his father-in-law, Randhir Kapoor.
Humshakals releases on June 20.
