FUGLY did poor business in the first week as it collected around 11.50 crore nett. With a dull weekend and a downward trend over the weekdays, the film had little chance.

The second week has seen a huge reduction of shows and hence, the film will add very little business after its first week. The film fared better in East Punjab and Delhi city than the rest of the country but still collections in these circuits were not good but just about decent.

Mumbai, CP Berar, Nizam/Andhra and West bengal saw very poor collections. Infact Mumbai which is normally at least 150% of Delhi/UP had similar first week figures to Delhi/UP. Both collected in the 3 crore nett range.

HOLIDAY - A SOLDIER IS NEVER OFF DUTY had very good second week with business around the 30 crore nett mark taking its two week business to around 99.05 crore nett.

The collections are by far the biggest for week two in 2014 as no other film has even gone above 25 crore nett. In the all time list it is the eleventh highest second week collections ever which puts its amongst some of the most public appreciated films of the last few years.

The film has done very well considering the not so great start it took on its first morning and is now certain to be the biggest grosser of 2014 by the end of the third week.
------------------------
HOLIDAY - A SOLDIER IS NEVER OFF DUTY is around the 100 crore nett mark after fifteen days as it collected 1.20 crore nett on its third Friday. The 100 crore mark is no big deal for these big films today.

The real target is the business of JAI HO which then could make it the biggest grosser of the first half of 2014 depending on the final business of HUMSHAKALS and EK VILLAIN. This could happen at the end of the third week or it may have to wait until week four or even later.

The third weekend for HOLIDAY - A SOLDIER IS NEVER OFF DUTY should be around 5 crore nett but the growth over the weekend also depends on how HUMSHAKALS fares.
