THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 has done well on its first day and its collections are set to be a record for the opening day for a Hollywood film in India. The previous best was the 6.25 crore nett of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN while THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 looks set to be in the 7.50 crore nett range.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 mainly did well in Mumbai, South and West Bengal due to these places getting holiday benefit. The collections in North and Central markets were on the lower side
