The Amazing Spider-Man 2 collects 6.50 cr on Day 2

The collections of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 fell on Friday as the
areas which had a holiday on Friday came down quite a bit. The places
where it was not a holiday on Thursday and where it under-performed like
North were up slightly.
The first day came in at 7.5 crore nett approx which is a record for Hollywood films in India. But day two estimates are around 6-6.50 crore nett which will mean a two day total of 14 crore nett at best.
Despite being the biggest opening day, it will not get the
best three day opening and may even not hit second place for weekend.
There will be a jump on Saturday but the performance of the film in the
dubbed versions is not so strong.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 has done well on its first day and its collections are set to be a record for the opening day for a Hollywood film in India. The previous best was the 6.25 crore nett of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN while THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 looks set to be in the 7.50 crore nett range.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 mainly did well in Mumbai, South and West Bengal due to these places getting holiday benefit. The collections in North and Central markets were on the lower side
