The Amazing Spider-Man 2 collects 47.50 cr in 11 days

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 has grossed around 7.25-7.50 crore nett in
the first four days of its second week. The total business in eleven
days is 47.50 crore nett approx. It will cross the business of the
previous SPIDER-MAN film in its third weekend.
The film was aided by the new Hindi releases being poor which enabled it to put up decent second week numbers despite falls over the weekdays.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 should now comfortably cross 50 crore nett and be amongst the top five Hollywood films ever but short of the highest grossers which are at 60 crore nett. The biggest grosser of last year was IRON MAN 3 at around 51 crore nett which will be surpassed by THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2.The film was aided by the new Hindi releases being poor which enabled it to put up decent second week numbers despite falls over the weekdays.
