The Galliyan song in Ek
Villain has a sequence showing the lead pair, Sidharth Malhotra and
Shraddha Kapoor, romancing in the snow. Believe it or not, it was
actually shot at a bungalow on the outskirts of Mumbai. That too, on one
of the hottest days of the schedule.
The song shows Aisha (Shraddha) expressing a desire to experience snow
and Guru (Sidharth) fulfilling her wish. Since it was very hot when the
shoot was on, the ice kept melting fast and the crew had to repeatedly
order fresh stock.
At the end of it, director Mohit Suri and his team ran up a huge `icy' bill. But he is pleased with the result. “The song is about everything a man would do for a woman he's hopelessly in love with. He fulfils all her wishes - whether it's dancing with butterflies, holding stars in her palms or touching the first snow,“ says the director.
