Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta's short stint, as the host of television show Fear Files - Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein, is over. Nikitin Dheer, better known as Tangaballi in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Chennai Express, has replaced her. It seems the makers didn't get the feedback they were expecting and, hence the decision.

However, the actress' manager denied that she was replaced, “That's not true. She was signed to host only 12 episodes, but went on to do 13." Confirming that Nikitin has been signed on, producer Nitin Keni said, "A contract can be extended or terminated depending on the feedback. The response wasn't too great and so, we decided to look for a change. We thought a male host would be a better choice. Also, I am not sure if she shot 13 episodes; my creative team says she shot one episode less."

Rumour also has it that Tanushree had a tiff with the production house. Keni refutes the buzz, saying, “I call it creative differences. But that could be between her and the creative team. There was absolutely no problem with the production house.“
