The new releases of the week - ANGRY YOUNG MAN, KAHIN HAI MERA PYAR, KYA DILLI KYA LAHORE and PURANI JEANS - had very poor results with none of the films even getting close to 1 crore nett for the weekend. KYA DILLI KYA LAHORE showed an upturn at some premium multiplexes but nowhere near enough to change its fate.

2 STATES remained the top Hindi film as it collected around 6.75 crore nett to take its total to around 90 crore nett in 17 days. The film has crossed 30 crore nett in Mumbai and 16 crore nett in Delhi/UP.

The business of 2 STATES in its third weekend was the second best of the year after QUEEN which had grossed around 7.50 crore nett.
