Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming production, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, marks the Bollywood debut of wife Kareena Kapoor’s cousin, Armaan Jain. The film was initially titled Locha.com. But the makers were not too keen on the name and eventually, it was Karan Johar who suggested the title.

Says a source, “The film’s script had the title Locha.com. However, throughout the shoot, Saif was not too thrilled about the film’s name. Even after the film was complete, there was great deliberation over it. Later on, when Karan Johar was shown portions of the film, he suggested its current title.” Armaan has previously worked as an assistant director for KJo’s productions such as Student of the Year ( 2012) and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu ( 2012).

On the other hand, the film’s spokesperson maintains that the title was co-producer Dinesh Vijan’s idea. “Initially, they toyed with the title Dekho Magar Pyaar Se, but later, they settled for Lekar Hum Deewana Dil as it had a musical ring to it.” KJo remained unavailable for comment

Incidentally, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is a chartbuster from Nasir Hussain’s 1973 film, Yaadon Ki Baaraat.
