After portraying a series of strong-willed women characters on screen, Vidya Balan is all set to get her detective glasses in place for Bobby Jasoos, which releases July 4. The trailer of her upcoming film, which is about the journey of a female detective in Hyderabad, has already received an enthusiastic response.
To prepare for her character, the actress held long discussions with director Samar Shaikh as well as producers Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha about her look, which undergoes several transitions. She patiently tried on over a hundred disguises and studied their nuances, from which the team selected eight. Vidya's quirky looks range from that of an astrologer to a beggar.

Says Dia, “This is a special film for Reliance Entertainment and us for many reasons and we are thrilled with the response to the trailer. For the first time, we'll see a female detective in a film and Vidya is perfect for the role."
