Alia Bhatt liked the trailer
of Citylights so much that she hosted a special preview of the film
recently.
Besides her family - dad Mahesh Bhatt included - and close friends, the movie's lead pair Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, and director Hansal Mehta also attended the do.
Alia said, “The trailer was interesting, but the film has left me speechless. I had tears in my eyes. After acting in Highway, I always see if a movie has left people teary eyed. If yes, the story has struck a chord with the audience."
The young actress is also impressed by the lead pair. “Rajkummar is a National award winner, so it goes without saying that he is talented. But it was Patralekhaa's acting that left me amazed. She has performed like a seasoned artiste in her debut film," she added.
Citylights releases May 30.
