2 STATES grossed 10.04 crore nett in its third week taking its three week business to 93.33 crore nett and within touching distance of 100 crore nett.

The third week collections are only behind QUEEN for the year which grossed 12 crore nett plus. The biggest grosser of the year JAI HO grossed only 4 crore nett in week three and is the third highest third week collection of the year.

2 STATES should just get to 100 crore nett but it looks set to be a close run thing. If 100 crore nett seems the maximum it seemed like it will do it in its second week and could even challenge the 108 crore nett of JAI HO which is the best for 2014 till date.

2 STATES is looking set for another solid week as its fourth Friday was steady collections around the 65-70 lakhs nett mark with a a likely big jump on Saturday as has been the trend over the first three weeks.

The film dropped around 57% in the second week and the drop was in the same range in the third week and again it is looking 55-60% range drop in the fourth week. The film is benefiting from the poor performances of all Hindi films that released after it..

The film will just about get to 100 crore nett. It should be there either sometime in its fifth week or by the end of its fifth week.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, meanwhile, did well in its first week as it collected 40 crore nett. There was a drop in collections on the weekdays.
