After appearing in dad David Dhawan’s box-office hit, Main Tera Hero, he will now act in brother Rohit Dhawan’s action comedy, and Varun can’t wait to get started. “I’ve always wanted to be directed by Rohit as he is a really good filmmaker,” says the actor, who is presently shooting for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.  “But he told me that he would only cast me when he has the right script. I think he has finally found one.”

 Mirror has learnt that Rohit is simultaneously working on two scripts— a hard-hitting drama and an out-and-out action comedy. The second script will be the first to roll later in the year.

 Confirming the news, Rohit said, “I’ve been preoccupied with two very different scripts, but that is the fun part of being a writer-filmmaker. I’ve been working on a comedy with a generous dose of action with Varun in mind. Our collaboration will bring something unique to the table.”

 Rohit has earlier directed the John Abraham-Akshay Kumar starrer Desi Boyz and more recently assisted David during the filming of Main Tera Hero, when the latter fell ill.
