Main Tera Hero is David’s first movie with his son Varun. It releases tomorrow. In the typically Dhawan scenes, there are many scenes where Varun talks to various Gods. And the Gods talk back. In Salman Khan’s voice! Instead of opting for the usual special-appearance formula, David got Salman to do voice overs at various points in the film. So while watching the film if the voices of Lord Ganesha, Krishna and Jesus Christ sound familiar, you know who’s doing the talking.

David Dhawan and Salman Khan have done nine films together and have given huge hits at the box office with movies like Biwi No.1, Judwaa and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. The director considers the actor to be his lucky mascot. On the personal front too, Salman shares a great bond with the Dhawans — David and his sons Rohit and Varun. So who better to play God?
