Dishkiyaoon-O Teri-Youngistaan poor over weekend; Ragini MMS 2-Queen steady

DISHKIYAOON, O TERI and YOUNGISTAAN had awful weekends with YOUNGISTAAN being the best of the lot thanks to it's 3.90 crore nett weekend
business. The collections were affected by the cricket on Sunday but as
the films had such low collections it hardly amounted to anything. The
combined total of the three films is not even 10 crore nett while the
combined costs are around 75 crore. The approx daily collections for
the weekend of all three films are as follows.

RAGINI MMS 2 remained the top Hindi film despite being in its second
week as it beat the collections of the new releases DISHKIYAOON, O TERI and YOUNGISTAAN. RAGINI MMS 2 grossed around 5 crore nett in its second
weekend.
This takes the film to around 42 crore nett in ten days. The film could not show the growth in the second weekend that established films mainly due to the cricket match on Sunday which hit collections. Also the genre is front loaded.
The drop in the second weekend was around 78% and anything in the 75-80% range for a second weekend drop is par for the course going by the business patterns today. RAGINI MMS 2 has probably done 10% less than it should have as the cricket matches have hit the film on many days.

QUEEN showed its biggest drop since it opened as the fourth weekend saw a drop of 50%. The film grossed around 3.50 crore nett in its fourth weekend taking the four week business to 54.24 crore nett. The film will cross the business of KAHAANI released in 2012 which was around 58 crore nett.
QUEEN was also released on less screens than KAHAANI. KAHAANI was released on 1100 screens on release while Queen had a 800 screen release.. The business of QUEEN till date is as follows.
