KAANCHI and REVOLVER RANI had low first day collections although the
latter came out on top by a margin. The collections of KAANCHI were in
75 lakhs nett range as per early estimates while Revolver Rani was
around the 1.75 crore nett range.
KAANCHI is a poor show and the opening day figures are less than the Subhash Ghai films released 10-15 years ago like Yaadien and Kisna which both grossed around 1.50 crore nett on day one and yet these films were failures..
REVOLVER RANI made little impact despite the heroine Kangana Ranaut's last film QUEEN doing well. The success of QUEEN was expected to get a better opening for REVOLVER RANI from the trade point of view. But the box office does not work like that and the collections of REVOLVER RANI were similar to QUEEN on day one despite twice the screen count.
SAMRAT AND CO was very dull and collections should be around the 25 lakhs nett mark.
