Chetan Bhagat’s novels are a hot favourite with Bollywood directors. All his books have been made into films. His last novel 2 States will release in its celluloid avatar tomorrow. Currently, he is working on his next book and already filmmakers are vying for its rights. There have been rumours that his next is a sequel to 2 States but the author says, “I’m not doing a sequel to 2 States at this point. I don’t have a book length plot for it. I am working on, and indeed quite excited about, my new book which will release on Diwali this year. The book is a rural-urban love story, as I wanted to somewhat explore rural India in my own way.”
