While the makers of Bombay Velvet have left no stone unturned to keep Ranbir Kapoor’s look a closely guarded secret, Mirror has managed to sneak out the first image from the film’s set. Our lensman Nilesh Wairkar clicked RK at Filmistan Studio while he was prepping for a photo shoot on Saturday evening. In the Anurag Kashyap directed period drama, the actor plays Johnny Balraj—a street fighter who goes on to become a tycoon. Mirror had previously reported that the actor had to beef up to look the part and had even flown his cook and trainer down to Sri Lanka where a major chunk of the film has been shot. The film is due for a Christmas release.
