Swanand Kirkire to play Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s chacha in Ghoomketu

Not
many know that the acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and reputed
lyricist Swanand Kirkire are batchmates from the National School of
Drama. Ghoomketu is an upcoming Bollywood comedy film which features
Nawazuddin as the protagonist. Interestingly, Swanand is playing his
chacha in the film. We learnt that Nawaz has been teasing his old friend
Swanand that he will one day play his father. Of course, Swanand was
not ready to accept that and told him in return, “I will play your
younger brother next.” We will wait and watch if the equation changes
between the batchmates.
