Salman Khan urging Sooraj Bharjatya to consider Daisy Shah for the lead role?

Salman Khan seems to be taking his mentor’s role seriously. If
sources are to be believed, he has now asked Sooraj Barjatya to cast his
Jai Ho co-star Daisy Shah in his next film. It may be recalled here
that the filmmaker had earlier considered casting Deepika Padukone in
the film but she may not be able to do the film due to lack of dates.
Says the source, “Both Salman and Deepika are keen to work with each other. But with the latter’s dates having been blocked for Imitiaz Ali’s film, this may not happen anytime soon. So now, Salman feels that Daisy can be cast instead. He even suggested the same to Sooraj Barjatya.”
The filmmaker remained unavailable for comment.
