With his ambitious Milan Talkies undergoing numerous cast changes and eventually put on the backburner, Tigmanshu Dhulia has moved on to another project.

Buzz is, his next film,Yaara revolves around the theme of friendship, betrayal and separation. Mirror has learnt that the film will be set in two timelines, one in the 80s and the other in the present day.

A source close to the director said, “Vidyut Jammwal and Amit Sadh will be playing younger versions of Irrfan Khan and Manoj Bajpai. Shooting will start in the next two months.”

 Shruti Haasan has reportedly been locked to play the female lead of this Azure Entertainment production. 

However, when contacted, Tigmanshu denied the news saying, “We are trying to put together a project, but not this.”
