After Hrs story yesterday on Ra.One beating Krissh 3, where we had mentioned that a spectator had said maybe Arjun Rampal should be asked to take a dope test in jest, had an upset Arjun calling us to clarify. “I am an athlete and have been since I was 13, and to even hint at something like that is horrible! I train my daughter Mahikaa and Mahiraa every day and take them for runs. Do you think I would have been able to do that if I was doing something like that?”

Arjun adds that he has been running the race at his daughter’s school for the last eight years. “And I have been winning it every time. I run for my daughter and I am proud that I win every year. I don’t run as part of a PR exercise! Last year, and this year too, I have beaten Leander Paes. Why didn’t you mention that? Hrithik came sixth in the race, it was not a neck to neck competition between him and me as you implied. Doping is something I am completely against and always will be, as I am into fitness. To even say something as a joke is truly shocking for me!”
