American Hustle has some very interesting characters and performances. But the film should have had more drama and engaging moments and should have been shorter by at least 20 to 30 minutes, for a better impact. The film begins very well but after some point, it begins to stagnate. But the final 25-30 minutes is definitely worth a watch. Bradley Cooper’s equation with his immediate boss is hilarious. Performances of all the leading actors – Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner and not to forget, the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence – are exemplary. Robert De Niro shines in the cameo. At best, this one is a one-time watch!
