After John Abraham, it’s Abhay Deol and Chitrangda Singh who have been roped in by Animal Planet to be the brand ambassadors of their show Where Tigers Rule. The duo will create awareness on the threats affecting the survival of tigers and the acute role they play in balancing the ecosystem. Says Abhay, “There are few animals as breathtakingly impressive as the tiger, the embodiment of grace, power and danger and their conservation is a collective responsibility.” Chitrangda who has always been intrigued by the elusive nature of the tiger says the show will help viewers learn more about these enigmatic creatures and the threat of them being wiped off the earth. “People must be encouraged to take up alternate vocations and not turn to poaching and hunting,” says the actress. The show goes on air from March 1.
