TUMBBAD has done well on its second run post original release in 2018. The second Monday drop is only 60% from Sunday and that's the best measurement as Friday was National Cinema Day. The film had collected 12 crore nett in its original run and in its second run it stands at around 21 crore nett and could do a second run of around 35 crore nett which means total lifetime collections near the 50 crore nett mark.
TUMBBAD is the first re-release film to really do a major number since god knows when. Earlier when reviving old hits was in, it was more territory-centric depending on the demand. Flop and average films sometimes did as much and sometimes more than the original run but satellite killed re-releases.
TUMBBAD has been released differently from the other re-releases and more like a new release with a good promotional spend and good release. The spend probably came because the makers wanted to make a sequel or something and success with a revival could get an investor or studio on board. It has worked and and the film has done very well though its questionable as it's not broken out into the masses. This is a question only a sequel can answer if it comes. It is a bit more all rounded than the 2018 release but still predominantly Mumbai circuit.
The collections of TUMBBAD (revived) are as follows
Original release - 12,14,50,000
Week One - 13,14,00,000
Friday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,00,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 9,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 34,38,50,000 apprx

ANDHADHUN collected a good 7 crore nett in its third weekend to take its total to 56.50 crore nett in seventeen days. The holds are not as strong as week two due to the new releases but that was expected. Still there is nothing major in the way now till THUGS OF HINDOSTAN and the film should go towards the 70 crore nett mark.
ANDHADHUN is a Mumbai circuit lopsided film as it will do around 40% of its all India business in this territory. In Delhi/UP it will be crossed by BADHAAI HO within a week as that film is just 3 crore nett behind after just four days of release. The East Punjab numbers of BADHAAI HO are already better with that film at 6 crore nett after four days and ANDHADHUN at 5.90 crore nett after seventeen days.
The collections of ANDHADHUN till date are as follows.
Week One - 27,37,00,000
Week Two - 22,14,00,000
Friday - 2,25,00,000
Saturday - 2,40,00,000
Sunday - 2,50,00,000
Third Weekend - 7,15,00,000
TOTAL - 56,52,00,000 apprx
The releases of last week are all disasters with there being practically zero collections for HELICOPTER EELA, FRYDAY and JALEBI. The only film to have some collections was TUMBBAD but they were minimal and hardly makes a difference to the fate of the film.
The collections of TUMBBAD till date are as follows.
Week One - 4,99,00,000
Week Two - 75,00,000 (3 Days)
TOTAL - 5,74,00,000 apprx
