Mirror had earlier reported (July 24, 2018) that Tiger Shroff has bought a sprawling eight-bedroom apartment in a plush neighbourhood in the city’s western suburbs. The 29-year-old actor had been hunting for an ideal property for a while and finalised the deal last year.
Now, we have learnt that Tiger will move into his dream house in April next year. According to a source close to the actor, it is being designed to suit his personality and, in a way, that it can house everything he needs. “There are spaces assigned for his workouts, dance practice and official meetings,” the source shared, adding that John Abraham’s interior designer brother Alan is doing up the place, while Tiger’s mother Ayesha Shroff and designer Sussanne Khan have helped with inputs. “Shopping for it is on in full swing.”
In an interview with Mirror (Dec 2018), the actor had admitted to buying a home for the family. “We will move in once it’s ready, maybe in a year or so,” the actor had shared, while his actor-father Jackie Shroff had described it as an “emotional moment”, adding that they never wanted one, but Tiger thought they should have a house and had been slogging to make the dream come true. Proud that the young actor has worked his way to the top, the exuberant father had added, “God is kind, what else can you expect from your child! Tiger is setting an example for other kids to follow. He sleeps by 10.30 pm and is up by 6 am… He respects people and focuses on his craft… He steers clear of malice and is a man on a mission.”
On the work front, Tiger has started shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s action thriller, the Ahmed Khan-directed Baaghi 3, with Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead and Riteish Deshmukh as his cop-brother. The actor is scheduled to fly to Serbia in November to kick-start the international schedule of the film.

Tiger Shroff talks about the upcoming Punit Malhotra-directed SOTY sequel, reveals to having bought an eight-bedroom apartment for his family
Natasha Coutinho (MUMBAI MIRROR; December 4, 2018)
It’s been a year of new beginnings for Tiger Shroff. The 28-year-old actor snipped off his Samson locks, settling for a short crop for the Baaghi sequel, his first film with steady date Disha Patani, bought a sprawling eight-bedroom apartment in Khar and launched a gym with sister Krishna. Speaking about his new home, he says, “I bought the house for my family and we will move in once it’s ready, maybe in a year or so.”
On the film front, Tiger has just wrapped up Punit Malhotra’s Student Of The Year sequel with debutantes, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria and is all praise for both. “They are fantastic, great co-actors!” he exults. “And given the way they work, it seems like they have been around for years,” he adds, going on to shower compliments on producer Karan Johar, director Punit Malhotra and DoP Ravi Chandran for the way they have mounted the film. “Punit sir is young, he knows how to tell the story and that makes the lives of the actors easier.”The actor asserts that he loved the original and the earlier students, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. “We are not trying to replace them, just trying to graduate with flying colours, like them,” he smiles. The new trio recently shot a song with Hollywood star Will Smith when he was on a trip to India in October. Choreographed by Remo D’souza, it was shot in a day. “Shooting with Will sir was fun, the song will be a treat for the audience when it releases,” he promises.
Tiger’s among the hits this year with Baaghi 2 and is ready to take the franchise forward with part three once the story is in place. “I know there are huge expectations, the team is working day and night to find the right script as we have to take Baaghi several notches higher,” points out the actor who had already kicked off his dream project with idol Hrithik Roshan. “It’s one of my most challenging films. It’s such a high to watch Hrithik sir work, being in the same frame as him. He’s my hero, someone I’ve admired all my life. Whenever I watch the playbacks, I can’t believe what I’m seeing.”Mirror (September 20) had recently reported that Tiger is also set to make his Hollywood debut after several meetings with Lawrence Kasanoff, producer of the Mortal Kombat series. Siddharth Anand’s Rambo remake is also on the cards. “I don’t know if I’m allowed to talk about these films right now. All I can say is that Rambo will start after Baaghi 3, I don’t know exactly when,” he says cageyly. Meanwhile, the actor who is big on sport and fitness has launched his own gym. “Since my debut film, Heropanti, released, I’ve had a lot of kids and youngsters, including their mothers coming up to me and asking me where I trained so they could also enrol there. I had no answer since I used to train at Juhu beach with random boys. I’ve had different instructors on and off all my life but I wanted to do something in martial arts, if I were accepted by the industry. My sister is also into MMA so teaming up with her was the perfect idea,” he says, adding that he can now be found at his workout zone when he’s not shooting.
Tiger has often been spotted with Disha on casual outings and at Bollywood galas. Even before we can complete the question, Tiger is off. Ah well!

In the last few days, several Bollywood celebrities have turned proud owners of new homes. While Shahid Kapoor recently got himself a plush residence in Worli worth Rs 56 crore, Priyanka Chopra has also reportedly picked up a stake in a high-rise coming up in Versova. And now, Tiger Shroff, too, has got himself a new abode.
Unlike reports which state that the Baaghi 2 star has bought a spacious eight-bedroom apartment, he has apparently booked three flats in Rustomjee Paramount in Khar West. While one of them is on the ninth floor with a carpet area of 1,500 sq ft, the other two are on the 21st floor measuring 1,900 sq ft and 2,100 sq ft, respectively.
The young actor has reportedly invested a lot of money in these three acquisitions. Says a source, “The flat on the ninth floor cost him Rs 7.61 crore (approx) while the cumulative price of those on the 21st floor is Rs 22.33 crore. Along with this, the stamp duty cost him another Rs 1.55 crore. Overall, Tiger has shelled out around Rs 31.5 crore.”

The actor recently bought an eight-bedroom apartment in the city and plans to move in by early next year

Tiger Shroff’s stock is on an all-time high. After delivering a hit with Ahmed Khan’s Baaghi 2 alongside Disha Patani, the 28-year-old actor stepped into the shoes of former ‘students’ Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra with Punit Malhotra’s Student Of The Year 2 alongside Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria. Now, Mirror has learnt that the actor recently acquired a sprawling eight-bedroom apartment in a plush Khar neighbourhood. He is expected to move in by early next year.
“Tiger had been hunting for an ideal property for a while now and was really excited when he came across this one. The deal came through earlier this month and his family is extremely happy about Tiger’s latest investment. John Abraham’s interior designer brother Alan will be decorating the place as Tiger had really liked his work in John’s house. He wants to keep his space contemporary yet minimalistic and will be dedicating considerable space in his new pad to a gym,” informs a source close to the development, adding that Tiger’s mother Ayesha will be actively involved in setting up the house.
With his new acquisition, Tiger joins the long list of Bollywood folks who are acquiring real estate in the city. While Shahid Kapoor reportedly bought a duplex in Worli recently, Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu moved into their new apartments in suburban Mumbai. Around January, Aditya Roy Kapur had followed in the footsteps of close friend Ranbir Kapoor by moving into his own bachelor pad in Bandra, a four-BHK spread across 4000-sq-feet. The actor has converted the space into a two-BHK to make way for a huge hall that could house one of his most prized possessions, a pool table bought from Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, after wrapping up SOTY 2, Tiger will dive into his next with his screen idol Hrithik Roshan. Next year, he is scheduled to start work on the third Baaghi film and Siddharth Anand’s Rambo.
