TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR had an extraordinary second week of 77 ccrore nett which was the 8th highest second week of all time and the highest in the last two years outside SANJU and KABIR SINGH. The collections were a huge 30 crore nett and were better than the highest second week for an Ajay Devgn film. GOLMAAL AGAIN had collected a little over 46 crore nett in 2017.

The trend of the film is outstanding as it dropped just 34% in week two and that too coming of many minor holidays in the first week. The total collections of the film are now 192 crore nett and it should become the highest Ajay Devgn grosser over the weekend. The run so far has been fantastic but that first noticeable drop could come today as it faces competition. Maharashtra which is phenomenal could still continue to run riot but in other places, the film could be hit.

TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR continues its super strong run as it collects 7.50-7.75 crore nett on its second Tuesday which takes the total to 178 crore nett. It is looking to hit the 200 crore nett mark in its third weekend and will also probably cross the numbers of GOLMAAL AGAIN which is the biggest grosser of Ajay Devgn.

The second week numbers of the film will be one the biggest ever and could finish in sixth or seventh place. There will be competition in the third week with two major releases which could affect its run especially outside Maharashtra where the collections are not that huge. In Maharashtra, it will provide good competition for the new releases as the film is being loved in this state. TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR was rock solid on its second Monday as it collected 8 crore nett which was a drop of less than 20% from Friday. The film has taken its total to 170 crore nett now and will easily become the highest grosser in the career of Ajay Devgn.

The second week business of the film stands at 55 crore nett in just four days and that is higher than the second week numbers of all films last year apart from KABIR SINGH and URI and there are three days left. KABIR SINGH collected 78 crore nett in week two and if TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR can beat that number, then it will the highest second week since SANJU in June 2018.

The film continues to do phenomenal collections in Maharashtra with numbers that no other outright Hindi film has seen and that is is practically all centres in the state be it Mumbai, Thane, Pune, NasHik, Kohlapur, Sangli, Aurangabad, Nagpur and others. TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR had an extraordinary second weekend of 47.25 crore nett which has taken its ten day business to 162 crore nett plus. The second weekend was the highest since SANJU (2018) beating KABIR SINGH and URI. It has beaten all of the releases last year in the second weekend though the second week numbers of KABIR SINGH may be tough to beat as that film held on phenomenally over the weekdays.

The drop in week two is just 20% from the first weekend which is an extraordinary trend for a film which was released on more than 3500 screens. The film is a historic BLOCKBUSTER in Maharashtra and Mumbai circuit with unbelievable collections in practically all centres of Maharashtra. In Nizam/Andhra the collections from Aurangabad may end up higher than Hyderabad which is unheard of and never happened for any major release.

The film is a SUPER HIT film and will easily surpass the 200 crore nett mark and maybe even go to 225 crore nett. The business in North and East is AVERAGE at best but with Mumbai circuit running riot, it means excellent overall numbers.

TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR had a a very good first week of 116 crore nett and saw fantastic holds over the weekdays. The weekend business was good but it really took of over the weekdays with the help of the holiday period.

The crucial Thursday when most of the holiday period is over held up very collecting over 11 crore nett. This is the highest collection ever for an Ajay Devgn film for a Thursday. The film has a chance of going anywhere the way it has held over the weekdays and even 200 crore nett cant be ruled out if Mumbai circuit keeps at this pace.

The film could challenge the likes of DANGAL and SANJU in Mumbai and if it does fall short, it is still likely to beat the numbers of SULTAN and BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN. The film has not done well everywhere as a lot of circuits do have low numbers like West Bengal is hardly 3.50 crore nett and East Punjab is below 7 crore nett. Delhi/UP is just 18 crore nett and this is when Mumbai has easily crossed 50 crore nett

The target for the film is probably to cross the numbers of BAJIRAO MASTANI as that film was also a Mumbai BLOCKBUSTER while other circuits did less. TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR is also a very similar film to BAJIRAO MASTANI.

TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR had a fantastic hold on day eight with collections of 9.50 crore nett which takes its eight day total to 125.50 crore nett. The film could become the highest Ajay Devgn NETT grosser ever which is GOLMAAL AGAIN at the moment with 205 crore nett plus.

A lot will depend on how well the film hold in Maharashtra over the next couple of weeks. The film is a BLOCKBUSTER in this state with around 5 crore of 9.50 crore coming from this state on the second Friday. On the trend you would expect it to cruise past the the GOLMAAL AGAIN number but as its so lopsided, its hard to tell as a drop in Maharashtra will make a huge difference to the film.

The film will be chasing the numbers of MISSION MANGAL, BHARAT, GOOD NEWWZ and HOUSEFULL 4 from last year and should emerge a SUPER HIT film which is a good start to the year with a big HIT with practically the first release of the year.

TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR saw huge growth on saturday of around 60% as it collected 15.50 crore nett which takes it business to 141 crore nett in nine days. This Satuday growth means it is cruising to the 200 crore nett mark and the biggest NETT grosser of Ajay Devgn.

The film continues its insane run in Maharashtra and is going to be the second highest grossing film in the state after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and will also beat the local Marathi film SAIRAT. The film is creating history in Mumbai circuit and is also heading to be the highest NETT grosser ever in the circuit after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and this is despite Gujarat/Saurashtra not being huge.

Its a totally different story in the North and East where in Delhi/UP, East Punjab and West Bengal it will not even be in the top 50 films of all time.
