SHADAA had a strong second week as it collected 8.25 crore nett to take its two week total to almost 25.75 crore nett. The film is already the second highest NETT grosser ever for the Punjabi film industry and now chases the 33.50 crore nett of CARRY ON JATTA 2 which is the highest ever for a Punjabi film.

The two week numbers of CARRY ON JATTA 2 were 26.50 crore nett as that film had collected 10 crore nett plus in week two as it was the open week before Eid and RACE 3. It will probably be difficult for SHADAA to catch CARRY ON JATTA 2 as had its first noticeable drop on Monday. The film should cross 30 crore nett and become the second film to do so but 33-34 crore nett number may prove difficult.

The film has scored Overseas with around 14.50 crore which takes the worldwide number to nearly 45 crore nad it will be the second Punjabi film to cross 50 crore worldwide.

The collections of SHADAA till date are as follows.
Week One - 17,37,00,000
Friday - 1,40,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 1,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 95,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 75,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 70,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 60,00,000 apprx
Week Two - 8,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 25,62,00,000 apprx

SHADAA had an excellent second weekend of 5.25 crore nett though it was not record breaking like the first week where it broke all time records every day for the first seven days. CARRY ON JATTA 2 had collected around 6 crore nett in the second weekend. The ten day total of SHADAA is 22.75 crore nett apprx

The difference has mainly come as last year CARRY ON JATTA 2's  second week fell on that empty week before the big Eid release RACE 3 while here there were a few releases albeit no major ones but there was a very strong holdover like KABIR SINGH.

It will be the third week business that will decide whether SHADAA can become the top Punjabi film of all time. The two week business will be very similar to CARRY ON JATTA 2.

Sunday - 2,10,00,000 apprx
Second Weekend - 5,25,00,000
TOTAL - 22,70,00,000 apprx

SHADAA had a strong hold on its second Friday as it collected 1.40 crore nett on its second Friday which is a drop of 20% from Thursday and a drop of 45% from the first day. Its the first time in its run that the film has not created a record as the collections of CARRY ON JATTA 2 on the second Friday were higher by 10 lakhs nett.

SHADAA is still on course for an all time record as the second week of CARRY ON JATTA 2 was the open week before the release of RACE 3 and the drop for the film came on the third Friday when RACE 3 released. SHADAA could also get back on its record breaking run as it could show more growth than CARRY ON JATTA 2 over the weekend. The total business of the film is 18.85 crore nett and will become one of the very few Punjabi films to cross 20 crore nett on its ninth day.
