SECRET SUPERSTAR collected 14 crore nett apprx in week two which took its total to a little over 55 crore nett. The film has been about mainly the opening weekend which got a Diwali boost but has not really held well after that. It has sustained in parts on low collections but the only thing that has worked for the film is the extended guest role of Aamir Khan which gave it a fair weekend and pulled it through. The film in terms of content has not worked and even the high end multiplexes of the five metros of Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata and Bangalore have not really taken to it.

There was GOLMAAL AGAIN for competition but that film did not affect much as SECRET SUPERSTAR got more than enough screens and also it had a different audience profile. In fact it was GOLMAAL AGAIN that got affected in the opening weekend as it should have had 70% of its screens which would have let it fulfill its potential on the opening weekend. The collections of SECRET SUPERSTAR till date are as follows.
Week One- 41,16,00,000
Week Two - 14,99,00,000
GRAND TOTAL - 55,16,00,000 apprx

The lifetime business of the film should finish in the 60 crore nett range depending on what happens on the third Friday. The trend of the film is very similar to DEAR ZINDAGI but will not reach the figures of that film unless the third Friday does not fall at all.

SECRET SUPERSTAR collected 1.25 crore nett on its second Tuesday which is similar to its Monday collections. The total so far for the film is 53 crore nett plus and after two weeks the film should finish at 55.50 crore nett.

The film has hit the 100 crore mark worldwide on Tuesday as its India GROSS business is 69 crore apprx and Overseas is 32 crore apprx for a total of 101 crore. The film had an excessive release in Overseas with a huge print count but its business is still below GOLMAAL AGAIN despite 50% more screens. The collections of SECRET SUPERSTAR till date are as follows.
Week One- 41,16,00,000
Friday - 2,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 12,00,00,000 apprx (5 Days)
GRAND TOTAL - 53,16,00,000 apprx

SECRET SUPERSTAR collected 1.25 crore nett on its second Monday and has so far grossed a little under 52 crore nett. The second week of the film will be around 14-15 crore nett which is similar to DEAR ZINDAGI which also did 14 crore nett in week two but had a much better first week than Secret Superstar.

The two week collections of the film will be around 56 crore nett and from there the film should have enough legs to get over the 60 crore nett but the 66.46 crore nett of DEAR ZINDAGI is out of range. The collections of SECRET SUPERSTAR till date are as follows.
Week One- 41,16,00,000
Friday - 2,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 10,75,00,000 apprx (4 Days)
GRAND TOTAL - 51,96,00,000 apprx

SECRET SUPERSTAR had a low weekend of 9.50 crore nett to take its to 50 crore nett plus. The film showed growth on Saturday but Sunday was pretty flat as the big cricket match possibly affected the film in the metros. The film is best in Mumbai circuit which may do 20 crore nett business in the final count.

If we look at content films this year and then HINDI MEDIUM is the best of the year at 63 crore nett apprx and this figure is looking a tall order for SECRET SUPERSTAR. The DEAR ZINDAGI figure which was led by an Shah Rukh Khan extended guest role and was also could not find much appreciation from the audience like SECRET SUPERSTAR went to 66 crore nett and that is impossible for SECRET SUPERSTAR. The collections of SECRET SUPERSTAR till date are as follows.
Week One- 41,16,00,000 apprx
Friday - 2,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Second Weekend - 9,50,00,000
GRAND TOTAL - 50,71,00,000

A 60 crore nett lifetime figure is a possibility for SECRET SUPERSTAR but even that will be dependent on third week business of the film.

SECRET SUPERSTAR continues with low collections in the second weekend. The film got huge growth of 75% on its second Saturday but that was always likely as most of its collections are coming from high end multiplexes and so the growth will come on Saturday.

The film should be able to do enough business on Sunday to take it over 50 crore nett after ten days and could finish around 60 crore nett. The collections of SECRET SUPERSTAR till date are as follows.
Thursday - 4,75,00,000
Friday - 9,00,00,000
Saturday - 8,50,00,000
Sunday - 8,50,00,000
Monday - 3,00,00,000
Tuesday - 2,75,00,000
Wednesday - 2,40,00,000
Thursday - 2,25,00,000 apprx
Week One- 41,15,00,000 apprx
Friday - 2,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,50,00,000 apprx
Second Weekend - 5,50,00,000
GRAND TOTAL - 46,65,00,000

SECRET SUPERSTAR declined further at the start of week two as it collected around 1.75 crore nett on its second Friday. It is a normal drop from around 20-25% from the previous day but considering the low weekday collections of week one it needed to so similar business to Thursday if it was to get to over 60 crore nett or challenge that DEAR ZINDAGI number of 65 crore nett plus. The film should grow well on Saturday as the high end multiplexes will show huge growth and its only the 50 odd high end multiplexes that are doing decent business now. The collections of SECRET SUPERSTAR till date are as follows.
Thursday - 4,75,00,000
Friday - 9,00,00,000
Saturday - 8,50,00,000
Sunday - 8,50,00,000
Monday - 3,00,00,000
Tuesday - 2,75,00,000
Wednesday - 2,40,00,000
Thursday - 2,25,00,000 apprx
Week One- 41,15,00,000 apprx
Friday - 1,75,00,000 apprx
GRAND TOTAL - 42,90,00,000
