Floods almost wash away the shooting setting in Georgia for Wajah Tum Ho song Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas

The contemporary “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas” had to contend with bad weather in Georgia.

Vishal Pandya had the entire song sequence for his upcoming film, Wajah Tum Ho, planned to the smallest detail when he left for Georgia. The song was a contemporary rendition of the Kishore Kumar classic, “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas”, featuring Gurmeet Choudhary and Sanaa Khan and Vishal had planned to film it in a canyon, in the middle of a lake. They were going to shoot with helicams and jimmy jibs. Ten boats had also been leased out. But rains washed away all his plans.

“It poured like never before the night before and the canyon was submerged. Flash floods swept many parts of the region and all our permissions came to nought,” recalls Vishal.

He then approached the cops for permission to shoot elsewhere since they had hired a lot of expensive equipment. They were really helpful and not only blocked out an entire stretch of street for them but also cleared out some 200 cars from it. “When I told them that it was a dream sequence and we couldn’t have shops open and people walking in and out of our frame, the cops informed the shopkeepers who pulled down the shutters and stood around in groups at the opposite ends of the street, out of the camera field, to watch a Bollywood film shoot. They even stopped people from wandering in inadvertently and interrupting the shoot. And that’s how Georgia made 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas' happen,” Vishal smiles.

Gurmeet Choudhary to play a lawyer in the erotic thriller Wajah Tum Ho

Telly world's 'Ram', Gurmeet Choudhary, who made his Bollywood debut with the horror-thriller Khamoshiyan has been surprisingly silent after a forgettable start. He made a fleeting appearance in a song in Emraan Hashmi's Mr X and now returns to the big screen with another erotic thriller, Wajah Tum Ho, also featuring Sanaa Khan and Sharman Joshi. He plays a lawyer.

The T-Series film will be directed by Vishal Pandya who surprised the box-office with his first film, Hate Story 3, and now plans to spin off another franchise with this one. "We will kick off Part 2 after I wrap up Hate Story 4 which will roll after this," says Vishal who has co-written the script with Sameer Arora, with dialogue by Rashmi Virag.

"It's an interesting story revolving around three men and a woman. The third actor is yet to be finalised," revealed a source close to the development, adding that Sharman will be playing a cop for the first time. The film will roll in May and will be shot entirely in Mumbai. The makers are targetting a year-end release.

"After Jai Ho! Sana will be seen in a glamorous avatar. There will be plenty of kisses and lovemaking scenes," promises Vishal.

When asked if 'lawyer' Gurmeet will show off his gym-chiselled body, he quipped, "If businessman Sharman could take off his shirt in Hate Story 3, why can't Gurmeet take off his black robe?"
