Lawrence Bishnoi admits to plotting Salman Khan murder in 2018

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, an accused in the murder case of Sidhu Moose Wala, reportedly revealed during investigation that he was plotting to kill Salman Khan in 2018. Bishnoi is believed to have told officials that his community members will not forgive Salman, unless he “apologizes for killing black buck”, which is considered sacred by the Bishnoi community.
HGS Dhaliwal, Special CP, Special Cell, Delhi Police, told us, “Something to this extent had come up during the investigation. ”
“Sampat Nehra, a key member of the Bishnoi gang went to Mumbai a couple of years back and he stayed there with the intention of killing Salman Khan. When Nehra was arrested in 2018, he also revealed about the gang’s plan to kill Salman. A rifle was also seized, which was purchased for this purpose,” sources said.
As per a report, Bishnoi allegedly told the police that since Nehra only had a pistol and no long-distance firing weapon, he bought a special RK Spring rifle worth Rs. 4 lakh for the purpose of murdering Salman. Delhi Police officials earlier confirmed that two attempts were made to kill Salman in 2018-19.
Just days after Moosewala’s murder, Salman and father, Salim Khan, had received a threat letter, that read: “Salim Khan, Salman Khan Bahut Jald Aapka Moose Wala Hoga. . . (sic)” Mumbai police confirmed Bishnoi’s gang’s involvement in the letter.
Earlier this month, a lawyer representing Salman had also alleged that he received a death threat from the same gang. An FIR was filed, and police said they had initiated an investigation into the letter’s authenticity.

Salim Khan responds to security outside family home

Two days after contract killer and Lawrence Bishnoi's gang member Sampat Nehra was arrested for allegedly plotting to kill Salman Khan comes news that security around the actor's Galaxy Apartments has been beefed up. However, the actor's father, Salim Khan, says the family is unfazed by the developments.
"There is added security for Salman, who has, in any case, always had a good team of security personnel deployed for him. It [threat] is not much of a concern [for the family]. We are only worried about his safety, and that is being taken care of. We have faith in the Mumbai police, and they are doing their job well," Salim Khan told mid-day.
As Salman Khan is busy promoting his Friday release, Race 3, Salim says his routine hasn't been affected after reports of the contract killer's arrest. "This is not the first time that Salman has encountered threats. Everyone is concerned about safety, but work can't stop." Nehra was arrested last week for apparently conducting a recce of Salman's residence allegedly as part of a ploy to kill him.

Sampat Nehra, a close aide of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, had done a recce of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence in May, Haryana’s special task force (STF) said in Gurgaon on Saturday. Bishnoi had earlier issued a threat to the actor.
Nehra, who was picked up from his hideout in Hyderabad last Wednesday, was taken to Gurgaon on Saturday. He was planning a second recce of the house before executing his plan and leaving the country, DIG Satheesh Balan said.
“He surveyed Salman’s house and watched his movements when he came to the balcony to wave to fans. Nehra had taken photos of the house and was trying to assess the distance to the balcony,” Balan said. He had threatened to attack the actor in January, apparently over the blackbuck poaching case.
