Frenzy as Salman Khan loses his bracelet; Ashmit Patel finds it

What
happens when Salman Khan loses what he values most in his life? His
staff, drivers and bodyguards run for their lives. Salman Khan lost his
firoza bracelet, at a party at his Panvel farmhouse. Revealed a source
close to the
actor, “A friend pointed out to him that the bracelet was gone, Salman
didn’t lose his cool but his face went blank. A frantic search followed
but when his father’s gift to him didn’t turn up, he almost lost hope.”Help came in an unlikely form. Actor Ashmit Patel, who recently teamed up with the superstar in Jai Ho, found the bracelet in the bottom of the swimming pool. The source added, “You should have seen the relief on Salman’s face.”
Ashmit Patel confirmed the story saying that when he gave it to Salman he asked him where he had found it. “I told him not to worry about the how and the where. He promised to gift me a bracelet, but I think he’s forgotten all about it by now,” Ashmit laughed.

The news that Salman Khan will distribute replicas of his lucky charm — a firoza bracelet — during the promotion of Jai Ho, directed by Sohail Khan, seems to have stirred fan frenzy. In every city Salman visited to promote the film, produced by Sunil Lulla and Sohail Khan, huge crowds gathered, asking for the bracelet.
In some places, like Salman’s hometown Indore, it even led to mass hysteria. When the actor handed over the bracelet to a 10-year-old fan, many people tried snatching it from the child, leading to commotion. Fortunately, Salman’s team spotted the ruckus and distributed the accessory among everyone to pacify the crowd.

Salman Khan has once again retained elements from his real life for his reel outing in Jai Ho, directed by brother Sohail Khan. His much-talked-about entry scene in the film will begin with a close-up shot of his phiroza stone bracelet.
The bracelet becomes the signature of the character, a core part of his identity. In fact, Team Salman expect the accessory to be another rage — just like his one-liners, belt dance and scarf in his earlier movies. “For me, it was a great entry shot for Salman’s introduction in the film,” says Sohail, adding, “We build up Salman’s entry before revealing his face. The bracelet is almost an extension of his personality — something the nation now identifies him with. It was presented to him by my dad, who wears one too.”
Salman will also distribute these bracelets among fans across various cities during the promotions of the film. They have already been ordered in bulk.
