PARMANU has managed to hold well in the weekdays to record a fairly good first week of 34.50 crore nett. The weekend was low at around 20 crore nett but it held strongly to add 70% business on the weekdays. It is the highest first week collection for a solo John Abraham film.

The film is doing well in the three major circuits of Mumbai, Delhi/UP and East Punjab but despite the strong weekday holds the second Friday is of huge importance to the film as there are two new releases. Also, in Punjab and Delhi where it is best, it will face further competition from CARRY ON JATTA 2 which is a big Punjabi release.

The second week is crucial to the fate of film as although its done well to get to 34.50 crore nett in week one its not a big total so it has to go on and do well till the release of RACE 3.

RAAZI had a super strong hold in week three as it dropped under 50% again and grossed 18 crore nett. The second week drop was 39% and the third week drop is 48% which is excellent trending. The total of the film stands at 108.75 crore nett after three weeks and remains to be seen how well it can hold in week four as there is some competition this week with PARMANU likely to hold screens and two new releases. The business of RAAZI till date is as follows.
Week One - 56,18,00,000
Week Two - 34,46,00,000
Week Three - 18,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,08,64,00,000 apprx

RAAZI is still refusing to stop with another strong hold on the third Monday with business of 1.75 crore which has taken the 18 day total of the film to 103 crore nett plus. PARMANU came into its own on Monday at multiplexes but Raazi was still unaffected.

RAAZI is now the second highest NETT grosser of Alia Bhatt as it beats the numbers of 2 STATES though in terms of GROSS it is still lower than 2 STATES. It is on course to beat the NETT figures of BADRINATH KI DULHANIA also which is the highest Alia Bhatt grosser but the GROSS numbers of BADRINATH KI DULHANIA may be tougher. The GROSS of BADRINATH KI DULHANIA was was 158.57 crore while RAAZI stands at 132.50 crore after 18 days.

The business of RAAZI  till date is as follows.
Week One - 56,18,00,000
Week Two - 34,50,00,000 apprx
Friday - 2,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,50,00,000 apprx

RAAZI got over the 100 crore nett mark on its third Sunday as the third weekend grossed 10.75 crore nett. The total for the film is now 101.50 crore nett. It becomes the fourth film to cross 100 crore nett this year after PADMAAVAT, BAAGHI 2 and SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY. The last named which was also a medium - small film just about managed to get over the 100 crore nett mark while RAAZI has cruised to it.

The film is looking to finish in that 115-120 crore nett range which is a excellent for the film. The main difference between RAAZI and SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY is going to be Mumbai circuit where the collections of RAAZI will be 10-12 crore nett better.

The business of RAAZI till date is as follows.
Week One - 56,18,00,000
Week Two - 34,50,00,000 apprx
Friday - 2,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,00,00,000 apprx

RAAZI showed huge growth of 70% plus on its third Saturday to collect around the 4 crore nett mark. This takes its total business to over 96.75 crore nett mark and it should hit the 100 crore nett mark today unless the IPL cricket final affects the film.

RAAZI looks on course to become the highest grossing Alia Bhatt film as it should be able to go past BADRINATH KI DULHANIA which grossed 114 crore nett last year but it depends on the holds over the next two weeks. Its rare for a leading actress to have a heroine orientated film as the biggest grosser but here its is because Alia Bhatt has not worked with with the biggest leading male stars barring an extended guest role with Shah Rukh Khan in DEAR ZINDAGI which was not really a box office film.

The business of RAAZI till date is as follows.
Week One - 56,18,00,000
Week Two - 34,50,00,000 apprx
Friday - 2,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Third Weekend - 6,25,00,000 apprx (2 Days)
TOTAL - 96,93,00,000 apprx

RAAZI has gone into the third week with another solid hold on the third Friday as it collects 2.25 crore nett. There is a drop compared to last week but its still a very good collection for the third Friday. The film has now collected around 93 crore nett in fifteen days.

RAAZI should hit the 100 crore nett mark on Sunday night it shows the weekend trend of last week. It could be a bit better trend over the weekend as there is a bigger drop on Friday compared to last week. The film will be the first 100 crore nett film which is driven by female lead if we take out TANU WEDS MANU RETUENS as it was more of a franchise film.

The business of RAAZI till date is as follows.
Week One - 56,18,00,000
Week Two - 34,50,00,000 apprx
Friday - 2,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 92,93,00,000 apprx

102 NOT OUT collected around 30 lakhs nett on its fourth Friday and is now coming to the end of its run. The business in three weeks was 47.50 crore nett apprx. It should be around the 49 crore nett mark after the fourth weekend and eventually get to over the 50 crore nett mark. The film is a decent runner.
