MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING is doing good business in its second week as it heads for a total of around 26 crore nett. The problem is the low first week where the collected only 50 crore nett as it just had a two day weekend. Despite just a two day weekend, it could not hold well on the weekdays.
The film still has an outside shot at 100 crore nett but a lot depends on the third weekend where it has to hold up very well. The film will have collections in the 76-77 crore nett region after two weeks. The collections of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING - PART ONE, which was the last film of the series in 2023, look out of reach at the moment.
The collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING are as follows.
Week One - 50,64,00,000
Friday - 3,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 6,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 6,75,00,000 apprx
Monday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 19,75,00,000 apprx (4 Days)
TOTAL - 70,39,00,000 apprx
FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES is a HIT and continued to well on its second Monday with collections in the 1.50 crore nett range. The week will close at around a solid 16 crore nett. The film is looking for a 55-60 crore nett finish and this will be coming with the competition of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE. The two Hollywood films will put up 150 crore nett between them which is a very good result as the under performance of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING is compensated by the good numbers of FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES.
The collections of FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES are as follows.
Thursday - 4,25,00,000 apprx (including previews)
Week One - 32,19,00,000 apprx

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING fared well in its second weekend after a lackluster first week. The second weekend has collected around 19 crore nett which is a good number and a good hold as the film did not show a drop on Friday. The first week collections over six days were just a little over 50 crore nett and that is what has held the film back.
The total collections of the film now stand at 70 crore nett which gives the film a shot at 100 crore nett which looked impossible post the first weekend. A lot though depends on the weekend collections as that is when the film does better like most Hollywood releases. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT (2018) number of 80 crore nett look easy but 100 crore nett plus of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING - PART ONE is still a task unless its gets a solid run for 3-4 weeks.
The collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING are as follows.
Saturday - 16,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 16,50,00,000 apprx
Monday - 5,50,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Week One - 51,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,00,00,000
Saturday - 7,25,00,000
Sunday - 7,25,00,000 apprx
Second Weekend - 19,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 70,25,00,000 apprx
The huge BLOCKBUSTER across the world, LILO & STITCH, did see a release in India but could not do much with around 2.25 crore over the weekend. But the film put up extraordinary numbers in the US with a three days going close to $150 million while MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING was near $65 million.
FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES is a HIT with collections of 10 crore nett over its second weekend which puts the film at 42.50 crore nett. It will easily cross the 50 crore nett mark and maybe even hit 60 crore nett or at least get very close which is a very good result for this film.
The collections of FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES are as follows.
Thursday - 4,25,00,000 apprx (including previews)
Friday - 5,00,00,000 apprx

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING collected 4.50 crore nett on Wednesday which takes the film to 50 crore nett. This mark has come in five days and the six day first week should be around 54 crore nett or close. Then its about where the Friday lands and if it can be around its Thursday number, then it can go on and do average business but that is a big ask.
This film is probably targeting the collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT (2018) which were around 80 crore nett unless the Friday holds up as mentioned above.
The collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING are as follows.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING collected 5.50 crore nett on Tuesday which takes the collections of the film to 45.50 crore nett. This is a four day number as the film released on Saturday. The first week (six days) is looking to be around 53-54 crore nett. The film is dependent on the second week if it is to come out with a 80-90 crore nett total.
This sort of final number will make it the second highest of the franchise but that is not really good enough. The collections have also fallen in the South but still the film has done better there due to the very good collections on Saturday and Sunday.
The collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING area as follows.
Saturday - 16,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 17,75,00,000 apprx
Monday - 5,75,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 5,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 45,50,00,000 apprx
FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES continues to do well collecting around 3 crore nett on Tuesday which takes the film to 27.50 crore nett and it will be a week of around 32 crore nett for the film. Then it remains to be seen where it goes in the second weekend. If the collections hold well enough, it will be rare post pandemic HIT film for Hollywood in India.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING faltered on Monday as it collected 5.75 crore nett. There is no Friday to compare the film and the drop from Sunday is normal but its all coming after a two day weekend. Hence, these numbers are just not good enough for a franchise like this.
The so so advances in Hindi circuits were an issue even before release but there was always a hope that these can come on board post release but its not been the case here. A franchise like this needs more support than South India alone. The 100 crore mark looks impossible from here though weekends can support a little going forward. The first week of the film looks to be heading for a 52-53 crore total.
The collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING area as follows.
Thursday - 16,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 17,75,00,000 apprx
Monday - 5,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 40,00,00,000 apprx
FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES has scored well at the box office as Monday is down less than 50% from Friday and the drop is even less from Thursday. The film looks likely to get better results than the bigger film MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING. It wont gross more but there is a huge difference in the films as MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE is a huge franchise in India and not much was expected from FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES but the film is holding well even after the weekend.
The film has collected 24.50 crore nett so far and the week could end around 31 crore nett which will give the film a shot at a total of 50 crore nett depending on where it lands on the second Friday.
The collections of FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES are as follows.
Thursday - 4,25,00,000 apprx (including previews)
Friday - 5,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 5,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 6,75,00,000 apprx
Monday - 2,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 24,50,00,000 apprx

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING has done very good business on its first day driven by South India with around 16.50 crore nett. It is by far the highest opening day for the franchise beating the near 12 crore nett collections of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING - PART ONE (2023) but it has come on a Saturday when the bigger multiplexes score.
A Friday release would have probably meant lesser collections though it still may have done better than the last film of the franchise though its hard to tell. The Sunday should be very good again but it with just a two day weekend, its depending hugely on reports as Monday will not work like the third day of the weekend. The target is to be the biggest film of the franchise but it will not be so easy with this two day weekend.
-----------------------------------------
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING collected 34 crore nett plus over its two day weekend which are good numbers but Sunday was pretty much flat. This is the norm for Hollywood but with a two day weekend, you would have expected better. The Sunday numbers are pretty much on the lines as MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING - PART ONE and there the Sunday came after four days as it was an extended five day weekend for the film.
Hence, the film does not compare well with the last film of the franchise and it looks like the it will struggle to reach the numbers of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING - PART ONE. The Hindi circuits were an issue on day one itself as they opened in the good to average range as compared to excellent collections in the South.
The collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING are as follows.
Thursday - 16,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 17,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 34,25,00,000 apprx
