JAWAN (Hindi) saw a drop on Wednesday which was expected post the holiday period but its still a fantastic collection of 8.50 crore nett. The collections may have come down but they remain at a high level and around 30% better than PATHAAN on the same day.

This takes the total of the film to over 450 crore nett and the second week will clock a total of 120 crore nett which will be the third best ever after and the fifth century in week two after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION, GADAR 2, DANGAL and THE KASHMIR FILES. The film remains on course for somwhere around the 500 crore nett mark after three weeks.

The story of the film is the collections in South India as all records have gone and that it is not including the Tamil and Telugu versions. If we include regional, in the South it will be doing as much if not more than what PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 did in the South and that was a South Indian film. The numbers in South are so huge that there will only be around 12-13 South Indian films to have more collections and only Hollywood release AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER. The Hindi circuits are all excellent but outside West Bengal and Assam, it will not hit record numbers.

JAWAN (Hindi) hit an extraordinary second week of 120 crore nett which takes the film up to a huge total of 460 crore nett. There have been drops over the last two days as it came out of two partial holidays on Monday and Tuesday but collections are comfortably ahead of PATHAAN levels at the same time.

The film continues to put up huge numbers in South with Mysore and Nizam/Andhra leading. Tamil Nadu and Kerala are at or will end at record levels but Mysore and Nizam/Andhra are insane. West Bengal and Assam are also at crazy levels. The 500 crore nett mark is there for the film and its just about how much higher it can go and for that a good hold on third Friday is important.

The film could have done better in the Hindi speaking circuits as numbers are well short of GADAR 2. But the film had a South look and is not a rural film. Yet, the numbers are still excellent as it has the star presence of Shah Rukh Khan which compensates the South feel of the film.

JAWAN (Hindi) saw an incredible hold on its second Monday helped by a holiday in South where collections in Nizam/Andhra and Mysore were at the same level as Friday and may even come out a little higher. West Bengal also saw collections pretty much same as Friday and all these are the drivers of the film.

The second Monday collections were a huge 13.50 crore nett which takes the film 432 crore nett and there should be a another strong day on Tuesday as there will be a holiday in Maharashtra and Gujarat. The non holiday places have seen a normal second Monday drop. The second week looks to be heading for for a 125 crore nett plus number which is third best ever.

The film is likely to be hitting the 500 crore nett mark in the third week and will also become the highest NETT grossing film ever by going past PATHAAN and GADAR 2, which ever one is higher in its fourth week. The film should now be looking at a 525 crore nett lifetime total or maybe even higher as there is some big holidays in week three and week four also.

JAWAN (Hindi) maintains rock steady collections on its second Tuesday with 12.50 crore nett which takes the film to 445 crore nett in 13 days. The film saw a bump up in collections in Maharashtra due to the holiday for Ganesh Chaturthi but as South had the holiday on Monday so there was a drop there.

The film is on course to become the second film to hit the 150 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and this is wih collections in Gujarat which could be better as it will not reach the 50 crore nett mark in this sub circuit. The holiday period for Ganesh festivities is over. So, there will be a drop in collections on Wednesday but they will still be at a good level especially considering the film already has around 450 crore nett up on the board.

The film looks certain to become the highest nett grosser ever and the third Friday should confirm this. The film stands at a huge 60 crore nett in Nizam Andhra including regional versions. This puts it on course to become the highest non South Indian film ever in Nizam/Andhra as it should beat the collections of AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER.

JAWAN (Hindi) crossed the 800 crore mark worldwide making it the second highest grossing HINDI film worldwide after PATHAAN. The previous second best was BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION at 801 crore and JAWAN will go comfortably over the 900 crore mark by the end of the third weekend. PATHAAN finished with 1009 crore and this mark will depend a lot on where overseas finishes.

The overseas is being led by Gulf now which is the highest grossing market for the film with $11.75 million till the second weekend. US/Canada is a little short of this number. Australia is where the film could become number one and beat PATHAAN. Gulf can also do same as collections of both films are very similar in their runs till date.

The collections in all formats are at 869 crore and here the film is going to be an easy 1000 crore including the south versions as the regional versions more than compensate the lower business in overseas as compared to PATHAAN.

JAWAN (Hindi) hit a huge second weekend of 78.50 crore nett apprx which is third highest ever after GADAR 2 and BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION. The film is comfortably heading for a 100 crore nett plus second week. with a holiday in states like Mahararashta, Karnataka and Gujarat on Tuesday, it could even score a 125 crore nett plus week. The collections will hold up very well on Monday and Tuesday.

The total collections of the film now stand at 418 crore nett as the film marches on towards that 500 crore nett mark. The hold over the second weekend is comfortably stronger than PATHAAN and collections are also higher. But PATHAAN got an extended run post week five which may not happen here as competition will come.

The film is heading for record numbers in Southern circuits and that is without regional versions as with regional versions, its not even a competition. West Bengal should be a record and so will be Assam. In Maharashtra, its looking to do better than PATHAAN and GADAR 2 due to Mumbai city and Pune but business in likes of Thane and other centres of Maharashtra will end up being similar or less than GADAR 2. The weak spots for the film are Madhya Pradesh and Punjab.

JAWAN (Hindi) had out of the world growth on its second Saturday with a 75% jump which is unparalleled for a film with such a wide release. These sort of jumps do come on the second Saturday but with much smaller releases. The growth is also universal as weaker markets like Gujarat and CI also showed huge growth.

The collections on the second Saturday are around 29 crore nett and this takes the film to to 385 crore nett and it should cover the business of KGF - CHAPTER 2 (Hindi) in eleven days. The 500 crore nett mark now looks easily achievable which was not quite the case over the weekdays.

JAWAN will hit its first circuit record within a day or two as the Mysore numbers goes ahead of PATHAAN on Sunday or Monday. Here, PATHAAN had set a huge record by beating DANGAL by 8 crore nett and now it looks JAWAN can beat PATHAAN by at least 10 crore nett if not more. An Aamir Khan dominated circuit in the last decade is now owned by Shah Rukh Khan.

JAWAN (Hindi) saw a superb hold on its second Friday as it showed a similar collections to Thursday. There had been drops on the weekdays as the film was at high levels but it has stabilized very well on the second Friday. The collections on the second Friday were almost 17 crore nett and the total is now 356 crore nett. The second Friday collections are outstanding due to the sort of numbers the film has already put up over the first week.

The film has set itself up for huge weekend business and should comfortably cross the 400 crore nett mark by the end of the weekend. The film continues to do huge numbers in South as both Nizam/Andhra and Mysore crossed the 1 crore nett mark on the second Friday. The latter will be crossing 30 crore nett on its second Saturday.

JAWAN (Hindi) remains on course for the 500 crore nett mark and has a better trend on the second Friday as compared to PATHAAN. Its weaker than GADAR 2 but that had a lower first week.
