JAWAN created history in week four as it became the first film to collect over 30 crore nett in the fourth week. The film broke the records of URI and BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION, both of which collected 29 crore nett plus. The fourth week collections are a huge 34 crore nett.

The film was boosted by the buy one get one free scheme on Saturday and Sunday by around 5-6 crore nett. But even if we take that out, it is still a huge fourth week and the film has held up its collections very well. Actually the holds can be called extraordinary considering the sort of initial numbers it did. The total collections of the are now 545 crore nett. The film has crossed the 600 crore nett mark with its regional versions.

The film will remain in cinemas till Diwali and still may be able to add 15-20 crore nett from here on. This takes the film towards the 560 crore nett mark.

The collections of JAWAN (Hindi) till now are as follows.

Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 8,50,00,000 apprx

JAWAN will set a fourth week record in just five days as it crosses the fourth week numbers of URI and BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION. These films did a little over 29 crore nett in week four and JAWAN should be comfortably ahead of that today (Tuesday).

The film collected a solid 6.75 crore nett on the national holiday which takes the total of the film to 541 crore nett. If we include business from the regional versions also, then it will hit also hit the 600 crore nett mark today. The film will be down today but it should still put up some good numbers over the weekend for a few more weeks yet.

The fourth week is looking to drop only 30% for the film after doing crazy business in the first three weeks. It did not look like it would beat some of the PATHAAN numbers in Hindi circuits but with this fourth week business, it is likely to go ahead of PATHAAN in every circuit.

The collections of JAWAN (Hindi) till now are as follows.

Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 8,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 9,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 6,75,00,00 apprx

JAWAN recorded phenomenal fourth weekend numbers which are the highest ever of  22 crore nett. This takes the business of the film to 534 crore nett and there will be another big number coming on Monday which means it could even have the highest fourth week total ever in just four days of the fourth week.

The film was boosted by the buy one get one free scheme on Friday and Saturday which meant it did not grow much on Sunday and this also helped the collections. But even if this was not there, the film could still have been challenging the fourth week records due to the national holiday.

It did not look like it would beat some of the PATHAAN numbers in Hindi circuits but with the fourth week business, it is likely to go ahead of PATHAAN in every circuit. The Tuesday number will tell where the fourth week will go.

JAWAN has seen an extraordinary hold on its fourth Friday as it becomes the third ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER film of the year after PATHAAN and GADAR 2. It is the first time that there have been three films at this level in one year. JAWAN collected a huge 4.75 crore nett on its fourth Friday making the film film the highest nett grosser ever at 517 crore nett and there is much more to come.

The film was hugely driven by business in South and West Bengal in the first two weeks but that has now settled to more normal ratios and the Hindi circuits are now holding very well. It did not look like it would beat the PATHAAN's numbers in many circuits like Rajasthan, CI and Bihar but now it looks like it will go ahead. It will be behind GADAR 2 in the Hindi circuits but GADAR 2 was just a normal HIT film in the South and only did around 30% of JAWAN there.

JAWAN saw competition for the first time in its run but has hardly been affected as FUKREY 3 and THE VACCINE WAR are not big films and also have limited mass appeal. JAWAN has continued its run pretty much as normal post the release of the new films.
