Hamari Adhuri Kahani collects 26.60 cr in 8 days

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI has had a low first week of around 26 crore nett. The weekday business has been reasonable as it has held up well in circuits like CPCI and Gujarat/Saurashtra but the damage had been done with a low weekend. Normally a film adding 60-65% on the weekdays to the weekend business means the film has sustained.
The difference here are the numbers are low for the sort of release and the occupancies are low. This will mean that the good weekday hold is unlikely to go through into the second week.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI collected 60 lacs on 2nd Friday, which takes it's 8-day collections to 26.60 crore. The film will do around lifetime business of 32 crore nett as it's a big drop in second week.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI fell on Monday to low collections. The drop is less than 50% from Friday but collections are too low. The first four day business of HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI is as follows.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI held better on Tuesday than previous day but collections are still low. The first five day business of HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI is as follows.

The film should now gross 25-26 crore nett for the week which is better than what it looked like yesterday but still its a low first week figure.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI had a poor weekend grossing around 16 crore nett as the film did not really pick over the weekend. It collected 5 crore on Friday and Saturday and 6 crore on Sunday. It was second best on Saturday and Sunday against JURASSIC WORLD which did pick up. The collections were also lower than DIL DHADAKNE DO in the metros on Saturday and Sunday.
The film did a little better in the Gujarat/Saurashtra belt but that hardly makes any difference. Even a Tax Free status in Madhya Pradesh made little difference in CI circuit.
The Hollywood release JURASSIC WORLD picked up on Saturday to go over 20 crore nett for the Fri-Sat period which makes it the sixth highest opener of Hollywood in India over the first three full days of release.
