Hamari Adhuri Kahani collects 30.50 cr in 2 weeks

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI fell over 80% in its second week with business of around 4.25 crore nett taking its lifetime total to around 30.50 crore nett.
The second week collections like the first week figures are very low and the film is a flop. It has fared better in places like Gujarat and CP, CI but even here collections are below average at best.
The lifetime business will be around 32 crore nett and though it is poor it is better than the likes of SHANGHAI, GHANCHAKKAR and UNGLI.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI fell it's second weekend with business around 2.75 crore nett. The first weekend was around 16 crore nett which means an 80% plus drop.
The film held up fairly well on the weekdays of its first week. So if it could have done a 10 crore nett second week it would have meant average business. But the second week will probably not even hit 5 crore nett.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI has had a low first week of around 26 crore nett. The weekday business has been reasonable as it has held up well in circuits like CPCI and Gujarat/Saurashtra but the damage had been done with a low weekend. Normally a film adding 60-65% on the weekdays to the weekend business means the film has sustained.
The difference here are the numbers are low for the sort of release and the occupancies are low. This will mean that the good weekday hold is unlikely to go through into the second week.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI collected 60 lacs on 2nd Friday, which takes it's 8-day collections to 26.60 crore. The film will do around lifetime business of 32 crore nett as it's a big drop in second week.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI held better on Tuesday than previous day but collections are still low. The first five day business of HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI is as follows.

The film should now gross 25-26 crore nett for the week which is better than what it looked like yesterday but still its a low first week figure.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI had a poor weekend grossing around 16 crore nett as the film did not really pick over the weekend. It collected 5 crore on Friday and Saturday and 6 crore on Sunday. It was second best on Saturday and Sunday against JURASSIC WORLD which did pick up. The collections were also lower than DIL DHADAKNE DO in the metros on Saturday and Sunday.
The film did a little better in the Gujarat/Saurashtra belt but that hardly makes any difference. Even a Tax Free status in Madhya Pradesh made little difference in CI circuit.
The Hollywood release JURASSIC WORLD picked up on Saturday to go over 20 crore nett for the Fri-Sat period which makes it the sixth highest opener of Hollywood in India over the first three full days of release.

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI had a poor first day grossing in the 5 crore nett region. The film did better in mass centres while the metros were very low as JURASSIC WORLD was first choice and DIL DHADAKNE DO continued to do well in metros.
The film has had better collections than JURASSIC WORLD in the Hindi film markets. But when the South India collections come in for JURASSIC WORLD both films will be similar and if South strong then Hollywood film may even edge past.
HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI had best business in the Gujarat Saurashtra belt. The opening is also better than the other recent Emraan Hashmi starrers but that's not important as opening is still low and the growth has to big on Saturday.
