GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS had a decent Monday collecting around 2 crore nett with collections down 40% from Friday and almost at the level of Thursday. GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS was below the mark over its extended four day weekend with business of 15 crore nett plus. This is around 3.50 crore nett less than what ALADDIN did last week over a three day weekend period. The film had to be stronger over the first four days as it will be a shortened week due to BHARAT. The Thursday release could have been down to BHARAT also.

GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS opened on Thursday and had a low first day of around 2.25-2.50 crore nett. The release was practically a full out release and not just previews. It was a Thursday release and it was not a holiday so it makes it difficult for the film. It remains to be seen what happens today and over the weekend, does it get a bigger audience or is this 2 crore nett plus level the actual level of the film. The last GODZILLA film had opened to around 4 crore nett.
