PHONE BHOOT collected a poor 10.25-10.50 crore nett over its first week. The film had a dull weekend but the Monday, the trend was not bad but its was probably due to evening collections as there was a holiday next day. There was not a huge jump on the holiday and then the collections fell badly post the holiday on Wednesday.

The film will struggle to collect post the first week. The film had a genre which has a good chance at the box office but this film was done in a spoof way which takes away any benefit given by the genre. The collections across the core Hindi belts were awful. Delhi NCR gave the better collections for the film.

MILI also collected badly with just 2.25 crore nett coming over the first week while the other release DOUBLE XL was even worse with just 60 lakhs nett coming. Both these films should actually not be releasing in theatres but with streaming giants adamant on theatrical release, you get token gesture releases like these two films.

PHONE BHOOT dropped 40% on Monday which is better than expected but the collections remain low at around 1-1.10 crore nett. The film has outside chance of some respectability if it can land the same 1 crore nett number on Friday.  The second Friday at that level would mean a little run of 3-4 weeks for the film.

The four day business of the film is 8 crore nett plus and it should get some advantage of Guru Nanak Jayanti today. It will be Wednesday which will tell where the first week will go.

The collections of PHONE BHOOT for the first four days are as follows.
Friday - 1,85,00,000
Saturday - 2,50,00,000
Sunday - 2,75,00,000
Monday - 1,05,00,000
TOTAL - 8,15,00,000

MILI dropped around 40% on Monday which would be reasonable if the film had any collections. The film is looking to do around 2.50 crore nett for the week.

The collections of MILI are as follows.
Friday - 35,00,000
Saturday - 50,00,000
Sunday - 65,00,000
Monday - 20,00,000
TOTAL - 1,70,00,000

DOUBLE XL hardly managed any collections on Monday.

The collections of DOUBLE XL for the first four days are as follows.
Friday - 12,50,000
Saturday - 17,50,000
Sunday - 17,50,000
Monday - 5,00,000
TOTAL - 52,50,000

Phone Bhoot collects 7.10 cr in 3 days; Mili 1.50 cr; Double XL 47.50 lakhs

PHONE BHOOT remained flat on Sunday which was expected as the collections were so low in mass pockets which get the growth on Sunday. The film was doing 50% of RAM SETU's second weekend in Gujarat/Saurashtra and when business is like this, it is hard to survive.

PHONE BHOOT has managed 7 crore nett over its first weekend and because of limited growth on Sunday, it makes it tough on Monday.

The collections of PHONE BHOOT on the second day are as follows.
Friday - 1,85,00,000
Saturday - 2,50,00,000
Sunday - 2,75,00,000
TOTAL - 7,10,00,000

MILI collected 1.50 crore nett over its first weekend. The film saw muted growth despite starting with low collections. The collections are much lower than JANHIT MEIN JAARI which is possibly a film in a similar zone.

The collections of MILI are as follows.
Friday - 35,00,000
Saturday - 50,00,000
Sunday - 65,00,000
TOTAL - 1,50,00,000

DOUBLE XL collected under 50 lakh over its first weekend.

The collections of DOUBLE XL for the first three days are as follows.
Friday - 12,50,000
Saturday - 17,50,000
Sunday - 17,50,000
TOTAL - 47,50,000

PHONE BHOOT jumped around 35% on Saturday which is par the course. The film collected around 2.50 crore nett taking its total to 4.25 crore nett plus. The growth had to be much more but that was always unlikely for the film.

The growth is limited in mass pockets which grow well on Sunday. So the Sunday jump may also be muted.

The collections of PHONE BHOOT on the second day are as follows.
Friday - 1,85,00,000
Saturday - 2,50,00,000
TOTAL - 4,35,00,000

MILI saw growth on Saturday but with such low occupancy it hardly matters as there is hardly any audience out there for the film.

The collections of MILI are as follows.
Friday - 35,00,000
Saturday - 50,00,000
TOTAL - 85,00,000

DOUBLE XL is also faring very poorly.

The collections of DOUBLE XL for the first two days are as follows.
Friday - 12,50,000
Saturday - 17,50,000
TOTAL - 30,00,000

Phone Bhoot collects 2 cr on day 1; Mili 40 lakhs; Double XL 15 lakhs

PHONE BHOOT had a low start on day one as it picked up in collections in the 1.75-2 crore nett range. The collections did pick up in the evening as it looked around 1.50 crore nett as a best case around 3pm but the final outcome is still a low first day.

The audience friendly genre has not helped the film much as there is no mass appeal in the film as the film appears to be a spoof film. The NCR area has done a little better than the rest. The low first day number and the fact that most of the business is coming from bigger centres means growth should come on Saturday. But the problem is that the growth has to be huge and not many films have managed that post the pandemic.

MILI opened poorly collecting around 35-40 lakhs nett. The film had nothing going for it with a poor trailer and that is reflecting on the collections of the film. DOUBLE XL was even worse as it collected 12-15 lakhs nett and the less said about the trailer of this film the better.

Basically its another dull Friday at the box office which was expected though the industry expected higher numbers from these films as realism is still taking time to set in.
