BADHAAI HO had a good second week collecting 25.75 crore nett which takes its two week total to 91 crore nett. The second week is the seventh best of the year. It is lower than the other sleeper HITS of the year be it RAAZI, STREE or SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY.

The film should be able to get around 105 crore nett for lifetime business but it will depend on how THUGS OF HINDOSTAN affects it from Thursday onwards. The film has grossed 28.50 crore nett in Delhi/UP while the business in Mumbai circuit is 25 crore nett.

This is going to the difference between BADHAAI HO and STREE as the latter did well across the country.

The business of BADHAAI HO should be similar to SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY at around 100 crore nett though it may have to collect a little when THUGS OF HINDOSTAN releases to get to the 100 crore nett mark.

Mumbai circuit is heading for 28-29 crore nett business and that's a very good number in that circuit. Delhi/UP may just about reach 15 crore nett which is pretty good.

The collections in UP are a little less which means it will take it a longer to beat RAAZI and STREE in Delhi/UP compared to East Punjab. In most other markets it will remain below STREE and RAAZI.

Almost 40% of the all India business will come from these three places.

BADHAAI HO has done well in its extended first week with business of around 65 crore nett. The film had a good first four days which was an extended weekend and has held well over the weekdays. There was a drop on the Thursday in collections as the collections went down in North where it has been doing so well.

The film is not a STREE as that found appreciation across most circuits in India while this is more of a Delhi NCR and East Punjab film. These markets will hold well till THUGS OF HINDOSTAN but it will be Mumbai circuit in week two that will tell where this film can go. The collections in Delhi NCR and East Punjab are bigger than all films this year barring the four big grossers SANJU, PADMAAVAT, RACE 3 and BAAGHI 2.

NAMASTE ENGLAND is a disaster at the box office as it collects 7.75 crore nett in the first week and will finish up with just 8 crore nett lifetime collections. This is lower than the first weekend of NAMASTEY LONDON which did 9 crore nett plus over the weekend. The non India theatrical rights are the plus which is the case for most films as satellite, digital. music and overseas cover 53 crore and there is also a rebate from the UK to come. So despite a huge disaster the makers are safe but the ones who took the satellite, digital and overseas rights will have to pay.

BADHAAI HO held well on its second Friday to collect 3.25 crore nett and take its total to 68 crore nett. Its a good hold as collections are just 20% down from Thursday. The film is going strong in Delhi NCR and East Punjab while most other circuits are comparatively lower.

The film will not be as big as STREE or RAAZI but that always looked the case on the weekday collections. It should finish somewhere around the SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY but without Madhya Pradesh where the film lost around 3 crore nett over the first eight days.
