All the new releases saw a drop on Wednesday as the they came off two day holiday period for Maha Ashtami and Dusshera and its RAJINI: THE JAILER 2 which is leading. The films actually remains steady on Wednesday but that is because the opening days were dull. RAJINI: THE JAILER 2 is 25% down from day one. NAYYI NAVELLI is 45% down while PRAHAAR is same as  RAJINI: THE JAILER 2 and 25% down.

There is a release this week with UDTA TEER but it should not really affect these films much and they can remain steady on Friday especially PRAHAAR and RAJINI: THE JAILER 2 which are trending better. None of the films are going to be HIT films but NAYYI NAVELLI and PRAHAAR will be looking for a respectable hold in week two while RAJINI: THE JAILER 2 can emerge a moderate success.

RAJINI: THE JAILER 2 has not released in national chians but this does not mean it would have done 75-80 crore nett with the national chains if it does 40 crore nett with a release like this. There are a lot of good cinemas outside the national chains and anyone who really wants to watch the film will find a cinema. The business would have been better but not by a huge amount. If the film had broken out, then the situation would have been different.
