Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is inspired by the real-life story of how the nurses of Cama and Albless Hospital fought back during the 26/11 attacks. The first 45 minutes introduce viewers to how the government hospital functions and the lives of nurses. The intermission point is chilling and one expects fireworks in the second half. And the post-interval portion does have tense moments, but only to an extent. The impact is dented as it becomes a confusing fare. Audiences will struggle to understand who is hiding on which floor. The makers should have ideally mentioned the floor number during each of these sequences. A few developments are also puzzling. Moreover, it gives a been-there-done-that feeling as one has seen the same episode being tackled in Mumbai Diaries 26/11. Kangana Ranaut is superb and one constantly roots for her. Girija Oak Godbole (Sheetal), Rasika Agashe (Mohini), Smita Tambe Dwivedi (Trupti), Suhita Thatte (Deena; matron) and Asha Shelar (Dr Maya Kadam; medical superintendent) have important roles and leave a mark. Prasad Oak (Kedar), Sayaji Shinde (Inspector Kamble), Vijay Gokhale (Babbanrao Zambre) and Sunil Palwal (ACP Dayanand Sathe) do well in small parts. All in all, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is an average film.
