Actor Saiyami Kher has begun shooting for an untitled Hindi drama directed by Vikram Phadnis, marking his first directorial venture in Hindi. The film has gone on floors in Mumbai and features Saiyami in the lead role alongside Vineet Kumar Singh and Tahir Raj Bhasin.

Saiyami shared a glimpse from her first day on set on social media, posting a photograph with the film’s script and marking the start of the new project. In her note, she reflected on new beginnings as she stepped into the role.

Speaking about the film, Saiyami said the story connected with her at a personal level and described the role as emotionally demanding. She added that beginning the year with this project felt meaningful to her as an actor.
