Actor Meerra Chopraa’s first production, Gandhi Talks, is lining up for release on January 30. The actor-turned-producer, however, has already begun establishing a slate of projects. “My next production is an OTT show. It’s an educational show,” she reveals.

Acting has naturally taken a backseat for Chopraa, who was seen in Section 375 (2019), as production requires her full attention. While her banner PincMoon Meta Studios is currently developing four projects, we wonder if the new role will enable her to create acting opportunities for herself.

She says, “When I started my production house, the thought wasn’t that I wanted to make more opportunities for myself. Acting is something I’m extremely passionate about. But right now, taking my production house forward is my main concern. In the future, I will create opportunities for myself. I can write roles for myself that I always wanted to do, but never got.”
